The County of San Diego has given SBCS (formerly South Bay Community Services) $6 million to help asylum seekers with their onward travel and help them with other needs before they are taken to the train station or airport. We will also learn what other services they provide to immigrants.
Kathryn Lembo, President and CEO of SBCS, will talk about their work with immigrants, particularly processing asylum seekers after they cross the border.
