This month’s Live with the League will be held on a Thursday to accommodate the legislative calendar of our speakers, some of San Diego’s new city council members: Councilmember Joe LaCava (District 1), Council President Pro Tem Stephen Whitburn (District 3) and Councilmember Raul Campillo (District 7).
We’ll hear from them about why they ran for office and what their priorities are this year. They will also discuss other issues, including:
- housing and homelessness
- the climate action plan update
- SDG&E franchise renewal
- reducing reliance on impact fees to fund public facility improvements in the older communities, especially in communities of concern
- surveillance
- the Commission on Police Practices
- the budget
