1) Heat and Human Health Tool Kit— Each section chosen by a member needing an author-—goal is to keep text minimal and use more graphics, tables, bulleted information as much as possible.
We will need a graphic designer-there may be one who is a league member.
2) Update on 2024 H3 Summit—First planning meeting occurred this month. There is money from Kaiser (20,000) and the venue provided again by UCSD at the medical school. They are hoping to have a two-day event, with poster presentations and opportunities to network on Friday night and then the rest of the sessions on Saturday-tentative date of August 16/17, 2024. They are looking for speakers. I am going to reach out to our schools of public health. The county health dept. participated in the planning call.
