What Services Should We Provide in Our County Jails?

Theresa Adams, Assistant Sheriff over the Detentions Bureau, will be our speaker at our January 10th virtual Criminal Justice meeting at 12:30 pm. She will explain how various services are provided in our jails, what processes they use to keep prisoners safe, and the complexities that have arisen due to the realignment with the prisons. (Many people originally in state prisons are now in county jails.) She’ll also discuss the abundance of narcotics on our streets that make their way into our jails. We hope to have many of our questions about the security and safety of our jails answered.
