The November meeting of SEAC is hosting a guest speaker. Sarah Cornett will speak on their perspective of the California Public Utilities Commission and how residents can get their voices heard.
Sarah Cornett (they/them) is a Senior Analyst in the Electricity Pricing and Policy team of the Public Advocates Office, the independent consumer advocate of the California Public Utilities Commission. Before joining Cal Advocates, they were the climate and energy analyst at the Legislative Analyst Office in Sacramento. Sarah has a BA degree in History from Whitman College and a Master of Public Policy Degree from UC Berkeley. Originally from Sacramento, they live in Oakland and volunteer with an LGBTQ prisoner support organization in their spare time.
