     Whether you are looking to find zero waste groceries or to refill everyday products, San Diego is a great place for sustainable shopping.  Check out theses 7 zero waste options:

1.  Earthwell Refill
Family-owned Earthwell is the perfect store for non-toxic personal care products.  You can bulk up on zero waste lotion, hair care, hand soap, household cleaners, makeup ,skincare, or pet care.  Bring along your empty containers for refilling.  The charge by weight and also sell art from local creators.

2.  Scisters Salon and Apothecary
Scisters is a zero waste salon with a shoppable inventory.  It is the place to shop for a spa day or personal care products refill.  The salon service offers haircuts and coloring, sugaring (non-toxic waxing), and Reiki.  They sell shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment and styling products used in the salon, all available in reusable containers.  They also offer zero- waste and eco-friendly makeup, as well as, perfume, deodorant, tooth care products, and essential oil reed diffusers.
