Zero Waste Symposium 2025

Zero Waste San Diego is inviting everyone to attend their 12th annual Zero Waste Symposium on Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 9am to 5pm at the San Diego County Operations Center. This is a hybrid event connecting with experts across sectors to explore how past practices and traditions inspire innovative solutions for a waste free future. The symposium will highlight recent local policy developments, organizations, and businesses pioneering impactful circular solutions across food systems, the built environment, mobility and community engagement.
Topics include:
1. Driving zero waste with municipal mandates
2. Food waste and editable food recovery networks
3. Extended producer responsibility for textiles
4. Zero Waste antidotes in the private sector
The symposium is solutions oriented to help create a zero-waste, circular future.
