National Partnership for New Americans

National Immigration Forum

The Alliance for a New Immigration Consensus is a diverse group of leaders from the faith, business, agriculture, education, and national security communities, as well as advocates from across the political spectrum working to advance bipartisan legislative solutions on immigration reform and border security. Presidents' Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration

The Alliance is composed of over 550 presidents and chancellors of public and private colleges and universities in 43 states, working on policies and programs to integrate and improve the prospects of the hundreds of thousands of undocumented students enrolled in higher education.

 

STATE LEVEL POLICY RESOURCES:


The National Conference of State Legislatures has two databases of immigration laws by state and key topics. For links to actual legislation related to immigration 2024-forward, visit: Immigration Legislation Database. For legislation from 2008-2023, visit: Immigration Legislation Archived Database. Topics include drivers licenses, in-state tuition, recognition of professional licensure, health care and public benefits, budget and economic issues, and more.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)  USCIS is responsible for establishing policies related to processing immigration petitions and providing information on citizenship tests and naturalization applications.
